Chelsey is an Oncology Nutrition specialist in New York City, New York. From early on Chelsey had a passion of starting a career that involved helping people. As she became infatuated with the Food Network and all things “healthy”, a Nutrition major was the obvious choice when applying to college. The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison was the perfect fit, which offered a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nutrition. After graduating, Chelsey was immediately accepted to her first choice Dietetic Internship program at Northwell Health (North Shore-LIJ) and upon graduating the program, was offered a job in the health system’s Monter Cancer Center. Chelsey completed her Masters of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Nutrition through Stonybrook University and earned her board certification as a Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO). Chelsey currently is employed as the Clinical Nutrition Supervisor at Mount Sinai Chelsea, an outpatient oncology center in Manhattan and a consultant for Savor Health.
As Chelsey practices what she preaches, Chelsey can be found living a healthy lifestyle in NYC: whether it's trying different workout classes, enjoying outside runs during the summer, or scouting healthy restaurant menus. Chelsey's ideal activity is a mix of her passion for health and social life, meeting someone close to her to workout together or catch up over a delicious meal.
